The End Profile Analyzer uses laser profiling technology in order to scan a profile of the edge of the measured can end. With laser profiling technology, the EPA is able to measure the Curl Width (along with other measurements) using a non-contact optical laser measurement system. The sanitary end is placed within the optical unit. A contact driven gauge is used to perform measurements such as external diameter. This measurement is combined with the non-contact measurements in order to produce the following measurement values:
|
- End Thickness
- External diameter
- Internal Diameter
- Chuck Fit Diameter
- Curl Width
- Curl Height
- External Curl Radius
- Countersink
- End flanges
|
End Thickness Gauge |
Key Benefits:
- Quick measurement (under 1 second).
- High accuracy.
- Non-contact measurements for most values.
- Non-destructive measurement of Curl Width.
- Can measure previously difficult to measure values, such as curl width and curl radius.
- Multilingual! Translations available to most languages.
- Runs under Windows 2000/XPTM
- Optional gauge attachments (Thickness gauge).
